I entered the Royal Navy straight from school and spent seven years in service. During this time, I represented the Navy and UK Forces in athletics. This reinforced my desire to work with people and help them to develop better health and fitness. My philosophy is to keep on learning and supporting my clients.
When I left the Navy, my aim was to become a Physical Trainer and over the years since qualifying I have continued to learn and gained additional qualifications including : nutrition, kettle bells, post-natal and ZUU, to name a few.
I understand the pressures of 21st century living. I work full time and must organise my days around the needs of my two sons and a husband who still serves in the Navy and is away all week. I also must fit in my own training around training clients and managing valuable family time.
I can help you organise yourself so that you can take advantage of some ‘me time’ and you too can make the time to support your own physical and mental well-being. If you commit to this, if you believe that you are worth it – then you will find the motivation and that commitment to improve your situation.
Previously I worked for both Virgin Active and Nuffield Health and developed a wide range of activities for clients with a broad spectrum of abilities. I opened Physica Fitness in 2016 and our Physica family includes people from 18 -72. I firmly believe that I can tailor a programme to suit your needs, whatever your level of fitness. Beginners or advanced I can help you achieve your goals, adapting programmes to fit your training needs, advising on the right lifestyle choices and developing your ability to improve your motivation and mindset!
All you have to do is take the first step! The help, support, challenge and guidance is always available at Physica.
